Hi, I’m Sonya - I’m so glad you’re here.
I founded Counterbalance to fulfil one mission: to bring wellness into everyday lives, both the workplace and at home.
After 10+ years in sales, working in property, media and technology, I realised I wasn't living my life to its full potential.
Living in Asia, in Singapore, I quit my job in ad-tech and moved to the beautiful island of Bali, where I retrained to become a health coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and trained to become a yoga and meditation teacher.
I developed The Challenge for my husband Michael, and with the success he saw in just 10 days, I launched it into a program that has now taken over 100 people through it’s doors.
Everyone, Michael included, left feeling healthier, happier, and more connected to themselves and their bodies.
I can’t wait to take you through your own challenge.
